Does it hurt?

Everyone's pain tolerance is different so this will just depend. I use two different topical anesthetics to minimize discomfort during the procedure. 

How long is the healing process? 

Healing can take up to two weeks. Right after your procedure, your eyebrows are going to appear very dark due to blood coming to surface of skin. Once you reach 6-10 days you'll experience patchiness and peeling. Once you get to 2 weeks, your peeling should have stopped. Your eyebrows might appear on the light side, which is normal. Once you get to week four, you'll notice the pigment get darker again and eyebrow appear fuller and more natural. 

True or False: No working out for 7 to 10 days after.

True! You absolutely must avoid heavy physical activity, excess sweating, and extreme heat for five to seven days after your procedure. Light  exercise and minimal sweating is okay but you'll have to clean your eyebrow area immediately after. The salt in sweat can actually fade pigment and result in less color retention. 

Are follow up visits recommended? If so, how many? 

Follow ups are often recommended between 6-8 weeks to ensure the best results. The number of sessions can vary based on individual factors and the type of permanent makeup. Typically, clients may have one or more follow up visits to address any necessary touch-ups or adjustments. It's advised to consult with your artist for personalized guidance.

• Remove contacts. Please plan on wearing your glasses for the next week, after your procedure.
• If you have eyelash extensions, please have them removed 2 weeks prior to your appointment
• You must be off of any lash growth or serums for 6 weeks 

• Plan on not being able to wear eye makeup for 2 weeks. 
• You will be blotting your eyes for the first hour to remove clear fluids. This is prevent excessive scabbing. 
• You will be asked to gently wash your eyes with a mild soap and pat dry. 
• I will be providing an ointment for you to apply 2-3 times a day during the healing process. 
• Absolutely NO activities that will cause dirt or debris to get into the eye area for a week.

Eyeliner lasts anywhere from 3-5 years. After the initial appointment it is not necessary to have a touch up like you would brows. 

If you've ever had a cold sore, even one.. you will need to contact your primary care physician and ask for Valtrex. Let your PCP know that you are going to be receiving permanent makeup.
